Rant -MAC Rodarte Collection
If not for the whole controversy, the new line is actually quite beautiful. However, given the situation and how this makeup was inspired, I can’t bring myself to purchase any of it. $100,000 is nothing to MAC and Rodarte, it really trivializes what’s happening in Juarez. Even though MAC has decided to donate all proceeds to a non-profit organization that works to improve conditions in Juarez, I feel like this is quite after the fact. Plus, they still gain publicity from ppl buying products from this line. I feel the only way for MAC to show their sincerity is to destroy the entire line and donate proceeds they would’ve made to non-profit organization to help Juarez.
Perhaps to many makeup gurus/collectors, this is very extreme. But we need to send a message to companies that they need to be socially responsible. If you want to know more details about this, please see below link.

Everytime I browse through my tumblr dashboard I get this nostalgic romantic feeling.
So heres the thing, I’ve finally realized I’m alone in life. Everyone is. Yes you will have people to fill up your time but at the end of the day your whole life it will be just you. I used to believe one day someone would come along and live happily ever after with me and never leave my side so…
I feel exactly the same way…
It’s easier to get by when I just don’t see or talk to you at all. Sometimes I wish I could just shut you out of my life, but I know I can’t. I’d still miss you. Sometimes I talk bad about you and I hear myself and think it’s a stranger saying those awful words. They are true, but I just refuse to really accept them.
